Dr. Rajesh Talwar's Bail Plea Rejected
Accepting the contentions of the consul for the CBI A.K.Saini that there is reasonable ground to suspect the involvement of Dr.Rajesh Talwar in the murder of his daughter and a servant, the Sessions Court today rejected his bail plea.
The arguments of consul S.Tamte - that the CBI did not unearth any incriminating evidence against the doctor and that, being a respected Doctor hailing from a family known for its medical services, Dr.Talwar would co-operate with the Investigating Agency to unearth the truth - did not apparently find favor with the Court.
The double-murder has not only caught the attention of the media but also has found place in an examination paper. Those taking part in the B.Ed examination of U.P.'s Rajshri Tandon Open University were asked to name the place of Auarashri's murder. The question formed part and parcel of testing their general knowledge.
