Film actor Anpum Kher insisted Kashmiri Pandits to get united and do some action

Famous film actor Anupam Kher on Saturday said that it is high time Kashmiri pandit community should stop back bitting and unite in this hour of need to launch a united fight against the  insensitive governments who pay little heed towards resolving   issue of return of Kashmiri pandits to their homeland.

On the occasion of third Kashmiri Pandit  World  Conference held at Zorawar Singh Jamwal auditorium in Jammu today Anupam Kher said that "I am not here to deliver sermons nor i am competent enough to deliver expert lectures on specialized topics but  i can say  that if we  will not start doing some thing concrete we will not be in a position to  improve our plight". He also not even spared  fragmented Kashmiri Pandit leadership.

Anpum Kher insisted to get united and do some thing, it is time to do some action .Talks no longer matter, we have done and wasted enough time talking with every one sitting in the higher echelons. The end result is zero as we are standing at the same point from where we started. It is better we sit down select an election symbol for our group/ politcal party and start campaigning.

The  firebrand leader of the Panun Kashmir Dr Agnishekar  when he  raised the question who is more important for the government of India and figure high on their priority list. Do they want company of Yasin Malik or Shabir Shah  who frequently take pride in taking anti-India stand and  burnt Indian tricolour and shouted anti India slogans or those who are patriots and were holding the Indian flag high despite facing resistance from all quarters.

Another guest speaker and Rajya Sabha MP Chandan Mitra, said the Kashmiri pandits have been targeted by the enemies of this country as per their nefarious designs to dismember India. He said Indians have no right to call them Indians till the time Kashmiri pandits return to their home land.

Dr Ashok Bhan took pledge on the occasion to get back to their homeland and talked about teh on going struggle.

Dr Vivek Kumar from Himanchal Pradesh said the country is facing grave threat from its enemies and common people have to get their act together to save the mother Nation from disintegrating.

Former DG BSF Prakash Singh raised thought provoking questions by asking the audience that what kind of society it is in which we are living. Why at all issues of terrorism, north east problem and deteorating law and order situation and infiltration of Bangladeshi inside our country do not bother us. Why we are maintaining a low profile and becoming mute spectators.  He said  part of the blame lies with the common people of the country as they do not discharge their duties as a responsible citizen and end up cribbing about their plight, wake up and learn to raise security problems otherwise it will  be too late.
