Mohammad Adil, a Pakistani student, studying in John Morris university, Liverpool has expressed his anguish over his maltreatment by authorities in UK. Adil was taken into custody after being suspected to have ties with Al-Qaida. Later he was released since he was mistakenly thought to be a terrorist.

Adil  feels insulted after being allegedly linked to Al-Qaida. Adil was held while he was sitting outside his college with his friend.  Special forces personnel used machine guns to arrest him. They barged in and got him lay down and arrested. He was kept under straight machine gun for nearly an hour. A few hours later when it got confirmed that he was a wrong suspect then he was given a better treatment. He was asked for water out of courtesy.

Adil who works part time in a security agency is badly dejected by the whole ordeal. He remarked: "I know Pakistan is in trouble. Its not a safe place anymore but I love my country. I just want to be home.Thank you very much."
