India asks Nepal to close border during Indian elections

Indian ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood asked Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda to close Indo-Nepal border for facilitating elections going to be held in India. He had met Prachanda at his official quarter at Baluwatar this morning.
He is reported to have discussed with the prime minister on border security status and Nepal’s request for electricity.
