JK Governor,CM greet people on Ramanavami
N. N. Vohra, Governor, has greeted the people on Ramanavami and expressed sincere hope that this auspicious occasion would be a harbinger of sustained peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In his message of felicitations, the Governor said that the celebration of festivals, which are an important aspect of our glorious pluralistic history, strengthen communal harmony, brotherhood and secular ethos.
The Governor prayed for the well-being of the people of the State.
Meanwhile Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has greeted the people on Ramnavmi wishing them happiness and well being.
In his greetings message issued here today, the Chief Minister highlighted the pluralistic characteristics and high traditions of the State to celebrate holy occasions and festivals in an atmosphere of brotherhood and harmony. He called for further strengthening of this trait and expressed the hope that Ramnavmi will be harbinger of peace and progress in the State and the Country.
