Kashmiri Pandit Conference delegation meets J&K Governor
Jammu, November 20 (Scoop News) – A delegation of the All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference called on the Governor, N. N. Vohra, at Raj Bhavan here today and submitted a Memorandum of their demands.
The demands presented to the Governor by the deputation led by the President of the All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference, A. N. Vaishnavi, included, interalia, the enhancement of monthly cash relief to the Kashmiri migrants; provision of adequate medical relief and health insurance scheme; relaxation of age in favour of over-aged Kashmir migrant youth to entitle them for employment; provision of merit-cum-means scholarships to the students of the community.

The Governor gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that he would take up their problems and demands with the Chief Minister. The delegation comprised the Vice President of the All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference, R. K. Raina, General Secretary, H. L. Chatta and its Member, Amit Raghu.
