Sri Lanka Suicide Blast Kills 10, Injures 20 in South

Ten civilians were killed and at least 20 others injured, including the Government Minister, in a suicide bomb attack at Jumma Mosque in southern Sri Lanka at around 10.30 this morning. Minister Mahinda Wijesekera, who attended the relegious observances at the Mosque, was reported to be injured in this blast and all injured were admitted to the Matara General Hospital.

Military Sources said a LTTE Terrorist carriedout this attack.At the time of the blast Relegious Obsevences were held at the Mosque to mark "Milad Un Nabi"(The Birthday Of the Prophet Mohomad)Festival.
