Letter of the president of NY Bar Association to president Musharraf

             The president New York Bar Association in a letter to the president of Pakistan through its ambassador Mehmud Ali Durrani in Washington has demanded an ammediate reinstatement of all the deposed judges,restoration of the constitution and release of all the indivitual arrested in the wake of emergency on Nov.3,2007. The letter also streesed the need for a free and independant media which is necessary for thriving democracy like Pakistan.The letter further expressed its deep concern over the gross violation of human rights which are guarnteed both by Pakistani and International law.
