MMPL's new Bengali entertainment television channel

Mahuaa Media Private Limited (MMPL) has launched a 24-hour general entertainment channel Mahuaa  Bangla with a bang.The channel brings former Brazilian football stars Branco,Romario De Silva and Diego Forlan (Forlan helped Uruguay to the fourth spot in the FIFA World Cup 2010 and was awarded the prestigious Golden Ball) for their football based reality show.

In 2008,MMPL had launched the 24-hour general entertainment Bhojpuri language channel which was the first of its kind in India.According to industry sources,MMPL spent more than Rs 500 million for satellite telecast rights of  movies, serial production and studio set up.MMPL also spend  around Rs 100 million on promotion.Total investment was around Rs 750 million.
