Pakistanis protest ban on TV station

QUETTA: A demonstration was organized by Tehreek-e-Istaqlal, Balochistan in front of Quetta Press Club to protest the ban on Geo TV.  Chairman TI, Balochistan, Nisar Ahmed Yousuf led the protest demonstration.  The speakers on the occasion said curb on Geo TV is unjustified. Telling the truth is not a crime while Geo is being punished for saying what is right, they added.

Geo projected a better image of Pakistan across the world but now people are not updated on the latest developments taking place in the world due to the suspension of the peoples favorite channel. The protesters said voices would continue to be raised until the transmission of Geo TV is restored. They called upon the Government for immediately lifting the curbs on the transmission of Geo TV in the country.
