Presidential Election Of India

Today 19 July 2007 the election of Republic Of India President elections is commenced  at 9:00 A.M IST and ends at 5:00 P.M IST.All MPs both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha and State Assembly and Councils are taking part in this election.There are two candidates : Mrs Pratibha Tai Patil and Mr Bhairo Singh Shekhawat .Mrs Pratibha Tai Patil supported by UPA Government and Communist party's members.Mr Bhairo Singh Shekhawat as independent candidate supported by opposition parties that is NDA ( National Democratic Alliance) .It is expected that Mrs Pratibha Tai Patil may be elected as President of the Republic of India.The result will be declared on 21 July.
