Prof. Bhim offers to plead Gilani’s case before SC of Pakistan

Jammu, February 14 (Scoop News) – Prof. Bhim Singh, Barrister-at-Law and Sr. Advocate dashed an urgent communication (letter) to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani offering him free legal assistance in connection with a contempt proceedings against Mr. Gilani in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Prof. Bhim Singh had offered legal help to the former President of Pakistan, Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto when Pakistan refused him entry visa. Prof. Bhim Singh was named by Former Iraqi President, Saddam Hussein to provide him legal assistance during his (Saddam’s) so-called trial in Baghdad. The USA had refused entry to Prof. Bhim Singh to visit Iraq. Prof. Bhim Singh represented former Yugoslavian President, Slobodan Milosevic before the United Nations Criminal Court in the Hague on the request of the Yugoslavian President. The UN Criminal Court did not allow Prof. Bhim Singh to argue the case of President Milosevic taking an unethical and illegal stand that every lawyer of President Milosevic shall be chosen by the so-called Criminal Court in the Hague.

Prof. Bhim Singh has been fighting the cases of hundreds of foreigners before the Supreme Court of India who have been detained in different courts in India under different offences. Hundreds of Pakistani, Afghani and even Iranian prisoners have been released by the Supreme Court on several writ petitions filed by Prof. Bhim Singh.
