Rajasthan education Minister calls on JK Social welfare Minster
Srinagar, June 20 (Scoop News) –The Minister for Education, Government of Rajasthan Ms. Naseem Akhtar Insaf on Wednesday called on the Minister for Social welfare, Ms. Sakina Itoo in her office chamber, Civil Secretariat.
They discussed carious issues including about a number of welfare schemes launched by the respective Governments under the Social Welfare and Education Departments for the upliftment of the downtrodden, poor, needy and those living below poverty line.
Ms. Naseem Akhtar informed the Social Welfare Minister that the Rajasthan Government has launched a number of schemes for the benefit of the students of the State under then education sector and is very much keen to expend the education sector in minorities dominated areas.
Meanwhile, exchanging her ideas with the visiting Minister, Ms. Sakina informed her that Jammu and Kashmir Government has already taken a number of steps to benefit the poor, needy and destitute downtrodden, SC/ST community’s etc. She said presently around 5 lakh scholarships from 1st primary up to PhD level under various schemes are being provided to the poor and deserving students of the State.
