Sri Lankan Consumer Affairs Authority Rejected The Milk Powder Increase.Appeals

The Consumer Affairs Authority(CAA) has rejected all the applications produced by all Milk Powder Companies here to increase the Prices of Milk Powder the Chairmen of the Authority Rumi Marzook has said. According to the Mr.Marzook the Consumer Affairs Ministry has removed the taxes imposed on Milk Powder few months back as a relief for the Milk Powder Companies."Therefore the Authority will not make any price increase of Milk Powder at the moment and may consider a price increase in future if the  Milk Powder prices  in the World Market goes up "Marzook has stressed.
