The elimination of stray dogs in Iraq alarmed the Humane Society International
The Humane Society International requests Iraqi government to change its approach and deal 'humanely' towards stray dogs.
The elimination of stray dogs in Iraq, in order to reduce and curb the number of deaths by dog attacks has produced the concern of the Humane Society International regarding the barbaric and cruel ways applied, including a combination of poisoned meat and ammunition.
The number of dogs killed was in the triple digits just for the first week of the 'project', breaking all of the animal rights group.
The Iraqi government has not given any response yet to the Humane Society’s request.
