Thirteen Candidates Were Paid Deposits For The Sri Lankan Presidential Elections

Thirteen Candidates including of the two Main Candidates for the forthcoming Presidential Elections President Mahinda Rajapaksha and the Common Candidate of the Opposition General Sarath Fonseka were handover Deposits for the Election up to to day.

The Presidential Elections where a largest number of Candidates were contested is the Presidential Elections in 2005 where Fourteen Candidates were contested.The Nominations for the forthcoming Presidential Elections is accepting on 17th of December 2009.
