Thousands of Cribs Recalled After Death

In Brookyln, NY on August 31, a five-month-old infant died of suffocation after becoming trapped between the mattress and the saftety rail of a convertible crib-playpen-bassinet-bed made by Playkids USA. 

Now, about 2,000 cribs are being recalled with the model number PLK-909 due to a safety hazard for small children created by an expandable mesh which creates a gap on the side of the crib. 

If this product is in your house, stop using it immediately and call Playkids USA at 718-797-0302 for a full refund.
