Two persons are killed in two different incidents in Kohat while three others including a women are injured. According to police sources in Merozai village of Kohat during exchange of fire between two rival groups 26 years old Najeeb Gul resident of Meerozai is killed, while Kachkol Khan of his rival group is critically injured, critically injured Kachkol Khan was arrested by police, accused Ibrar and Rashid have managed to escape, case against them is registered in Sadar police station of Kohat.
In one another incident occurred in Darmalak area of Lachi Kohat accused Wazir has killed his brother Amanullah in front of his house by opening fire at him with fire arms, accused Wair was accompanied by his nephew while killing his own brother during midnight between Tuesday and Wednesday, prior to the murder both had exchanged hot words, after committing murder of Amanullah accused Wazir had managed to escape.
Accused Wazir Khan son of Nazir Khan after exchange of hot words had opened fire at his mother in Jungle Khel area of Kohat, after leaving her injured mother behind he had managed to escape. One Farid Khan was also injured in Mandooni area of Union Council Gumbat when unknown persons had opened fire at him; Gumbat police station staff has registered the case against unknown assassins.
‘WAPDA Kohat office gate is damaged in rocket attack around 1:am during night between Wednesday and Thursday, flour machine in nearby shop is also damaged,’ eyewitnesses have said. ‘A bomb kept in an edible oil tin before WAPDA office was exploded during the night between Wednesday and Thursday at 1:am no loss to life or property is done,’ Rescue 15 police officer on duty has said.
On Wednesday evening frequent stoppage of electric supply with brief intervals was witnessed by residents of Paracha Town Kohat. Around 1:am during night between Wednesday and Thursday the moment electric supply was stopped within few seconds a powerful explosion had rocked the buildings in Paracha Town, after half an hour of explosion electricity was restored.
Three sheep are accidentally critically injured when a coaster had hit walking sheep in between Kohat Pindi road near Paracha Town Kohat on Thursday evening; Afghan refugee owner had slaughtered all the three sheep at roadside while coaster driver had managed to escape.
