VHP honours Salim Ali who chased Jama Masjid shooters

New Delhi/Jammu, September 25 (Scoop News) – Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) today honoured Salim Ali who chased Jama Masjid shooters last Sunday. The highest spritual Guru, Jagad guru Shankaracharya Swami Vashudevanand Saraswati houred Salim Ali with a shawl, Chunni & Shri Fal in a function organised by the Delhi unit of Vishva Hindu Parishad in New Delhi. The wife, childeren and relatives of Salim Ali were also honoured on the occassion.

Salim Ali was also awarded with a cash reward of Rs. 21000/- for his daring chase of armed shooters. Speaking on the occassion Jagad Guru said if the youths like Salim come forward to protect the country, no more terrorists can live in the country.

Addressing the gathering the international vice president of VHP Om Prakash Singhal said, that it is our ancient tradition to honour such persons and today we are feeling proud of honouring a youth who saved the life of many and chased the gun man.

Delhi state president of VHP Swadesh Pal Gupta apealed the residents of Delhi to come forward against the anti social eliments and make our city crime free & terror free.

The state media chief - VHP Vinod Bansal coordinated the program and the gen. secretary Styendra Mohan given vote of thanks. The state vice presidents VHP Brij Mohan Sethi & Rajendra Gupta were amongst the other dignatories present on the occassion.
