White Skin Craze

A contagious social fad called the “psycho-epidermal” disorder affecting the middle class and the well-off social class of the Philippine society has become wider than expected and tremendously influenced even the C, D, E class of Philippine society. The psycho-epidermal disorder also called the white-skin-craze had completely altered the attitude of the Filipinos towards their physical distinguishing characteristics.

The mainstream media, celebrity endorsers, politicians, the government, product manufactures and advertisers selfishly conspired with one another in creating the psycho-epidermal disorder by convincing and telling the gullible public that having a DARK or BLACK skin is a social humiliation. While in contrast, having a WHITE and SMOOTH skin is an expression of beauty and asset which attracts appreciation and admiration.

Because the psycho-epidermal disorder is widespread among celebrities, politicians, government officials and media personalities, they are endorsing different whitening products of GLUTATHIONE, from fake to original products made in China and Japan respectively. GLUTATHIONE is an anti-oxidant drug but effective in changing the skin colors by nurturing the melanin into a bleached like skin.

The whitening drug GLUTATHIONE is a multi-million peso racket for manufacturers, endorsers and advertisers. Their clients have multiplied since it was introduced in the Philippines years ago. The Philippines, having a brown to dark race is in a state of self denial of their true skin colors. This is extremely bothering to a person like me who is proud of my physical and racial identity.

Why I called it psycho-epidermal disorder? Simply because 5 out of 10 Filipinos (based on independent survey firm) are mentally bothered by their dark skin and they wanted to have a white skin instead.
