Would Bush Be Able To Promote Peace Between Israel and Palestine?

Frighteningly enough, George W. Bush is the most powerful person in the world in a political sense. But in reality, there are more powerful people than George W. Bush but they're hiding in the shadows. I doubt they're going to be revealing themselves anytime soon. But that's aside from the point; George W. Bush cannot promote peace among Palestinians and the Israelis. He really doesn't have the mental capacity to promote peace amongst the two peoples. So far, just about all of the foreign policies under Bush and his administration have failed.

His policies in Iraq have failed. The way that Bush's administration has handled the Iraq situation has very much failed. You can't completely blame Bush for everything that is going on overseas. The battle between Israel and Palestine isn't his fault either. Israel and Palestine have been going at it against each other ever since World War II. The Jewish were persecuted left and right. Many Jews were slaughtered during the Holocaust of World War II. At the end, the Jewish really didn't have a place to go to afterwards. One place didn't want them and another place didn't want them either. Many of them were even persecuted by Russia which was under Communist rule at the time.

The land given to the Jewish that became the state of Isreal was taken from the Palestinians. One must put oneself into the shoes of the Palestinians and think about this: how would you feel if you got your land let alone home taken away? You would be very angry. At the same time, put yourself into the shoes of the Israelis and think about this: how would you feel if you had place to go to or have no place to call yours? You would be pretty frustrated and depressed.

I asked a Palestinian friend a few years back on his opinion. He commented that "peace" wouldn't be possible. He then further explained that neither side will stop until the other side is dead. That would be the worst case scenario in terms of Israel and Palestine. But one needs to think positively about peace between the two nations. There's way too much negative energy in the universe.

But Bush tends to stick his hand in way too many "pies." However, George W. Bush doesn't have that much longer until his second term as United States President. He's barely got any influence right now. As his term is almost over, many Republicans are abandoning him at a most opportune time. He's pretty much a lame duck president and wouldn't be able to promote peace.

However, a lot of doings on the part of Israel's government has very much alienated must of the Arab world. Whenever the other Arab nations try to intervene, Israel reacts. At the same time, the United States intervenes as the two of them are "allies." When Israeli forces cross into other people's territory, nothing happens. In a sense, Bush is too partial to Israel's government. There are many people whom are Jewish both here and abroad that do like the fighting and wish for it to end. They very much wish for peace.

But no, Bush wouldn't be able to promote peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis. George Bush Senior and/or Jeb Bush would be able to; but, George W. Bush wouldn't be able to. Bush and his administration had already alienated most of the world let alone Arab community. To promote peace, one must use diplomacy. Bush very much lacks in that department.
