Youth who visiting Kashmir is not carrying arms or stones:BJP

Jammu, January 13 (Scoop News) – BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas today strongly criticized some Kashmir valley based leaders of the coalition parties for objecting to visit of Bartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) activists from other parts of the country to the valley and misleading the public that it will result into disturbances.

Manhas, while chairing meeting of party leaders shouldered with various responsibilities for the success of the Yatra,  said that a youth who is coming here to visit the memorials of Brig. Rajinder Singh and Maqbool Sherwani, is not carrying arms or stones and hence those making uncalled and unnecessary utterances are not the patriotic people. He said that the state unit is making best possible arrangements for the smooth conduct of the whole Yatra.

Manhas said that it will be a rare moment in the history of Jammu and Kashmir when thousands of youth from different parts of the country will be in Jammu & Kashmir for three days as part of the scheduled yatra. He said it will be for the first time that people of different cultures and faiths will display unity and oneness for a very noble cause. It will also be an united show of respect for the national symbols and resolve to maintain honour and dignity of our tri-colour.

After official commencement of Rashtriya Ekta Yatra from Kolkata, the political activities of the BJP and its Yuva Morcha are gaining pace in Jammu in particular. BJYM State President Munish Sharma told the visiting leader that his morcha activists are working round the clock and finalizing the arrangements like route, reception, publicity, rally, media, transport, Yatra security, accommodation, provision of food and other requirements. He further told that the state unit of BJYM is in regular touch with the central leadership of the morcha. He also thanked the BJP State President and other office bearers for extending their full cooperation.
