Suicide Attack Kills 5 in Afghanistan

A suicide bomb attack in southern Afghanistan killed five policemen and wounded four. In Helmand, part of southern Afghanistan, a man strapped explosives to his body, approached the police anti-drug patrol group, and detonated the explosives. Police vehicles and the surrounding buildings were damaged. 66% of opium is produced in Helmand. The opium is the main raw material used to manufacture heroin. more
