On Thursday, the FCC released a copy of the Order it approved Wednesday. The Order, which rounds out at 170 pages, does not, for some, go far enough to preserve an open Internet. Others argue that the Order goes to far, while still others are falsely claiming that the Order is a government takeover of the Internet.
If you do not have the time to read the whole Order, please see this copy. LWR highlighted the most important portions to make digesting the Order easier. Below you’ll find a chart that shows the new rules; one set of rules for wired broadband (the kind in your home, for example) and another set of rules for mobile broadband (the kind you access with your smart phone). More to follow.
