9,600 youth turn up job fair in Banglore

There are many types of job and career fairs, it's a chance for a company to meet and screen a large volume of potential job candidates. As one of the job fair was conducted in Banglore.

In this job fair the Chief Minister B.S Yedurappa inaugurated and called upon the job- seekers were expected to attend the fair.Nearly 1,100 candidates were put through certain tests by the companies and 120 candidates were given spot employment.

The first day in Banglore of the two- day job organised by state Government turned out to be a big draw with nearly 9,600 candidates registering their names and over 100 establishments, ranging from information technology companies to even the Union Government- run- Life Insurance Corporation and the Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation of the State Goverment, seeking to recruit eligible candidates.

After conducting job fair, one of the officials in a car- manufacturing company who had interviewed a couple of students a rural polytechnic in Banglore from this experience he said"the quality of candidates is good and maybe they need a few more skills to meet the job requirement, and we have hired them for further training and will employ them later"

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari called terrorism a cancer that the government is determined to eliminate after a suicide attack on the Marriott Hotel killed at least 40 people, “Terrorism is a cancer in Pakistan, we are determined, God willing, we will rid the country of this cancer,” Zardari said in a televised address to the nation, hours after the attack in the heart of the capital Islamabad. “We will not be deterred by these cowards, Pakistanis are brave and fearless people, they are not afraid of death,” he said. “I promise you that such actions by these cowards will not lower our resolve,” he said. “I appeal to all democratic forces to come and save Pakistan,” he said. “It was a day of festivity and celebration for democracy and the entire nation, but these cowards turned our jubilation into grief,” he said. Zardari, who took office earlier this month, vowed in his parliamentary speech to “root out terrorism and extremism wherever and whenever they may rear their ugly heads.”In his televised address later, he assured families of those killed in the blast that the government would support them. “All those who embraced martyrdom were our brothers and children. I ask all those sisters who lost their brothers, and mothers who lost their sons to be patient, because these people died with their boots on. “They were martyred for this country and we will always remember them and support their families,” he said.

Saudi Airlines staff is missing in Marriott blast , Saudi Embasdor reached on blast site, He confirmed that their war 16 Saudi nationals in the hottel at time of blast and out of that 4 are still missing. So far injured in Hospitals are US, Danish, Koreon, Saudi, German, Afgan, keniya are confirm.

A powerful explosion outside the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad rocked the capital on Saturday evening, killing at least 20 people and injuring scores of others, according to initial reports.

Police suspect an explosive laden vehicle rammed into the gates of the Marriott Hotel. At least two people have been killed and twenty five injured, including foreigners. Television footage shows flames coming out of the building and several vehicles destroyed. Ambulances and fire bgrigades have reached the scene. The entire area has been cordones off by security forces.

Three Serial bomb blasts in Attock city: Pakistan

Today morning three serial bomb blasts take place injuring 5 persons including one child. The first blast take place at morning 6:30 am in video market in middle of city near madni chowk. Then after just 5 mins another blast take place followed by another in just 30 sec. According to police sources only 4 peoples were injured but as I was on the spot at that moment because it was just 10 m away from the home I was staying today and I was on the spot after first bomb take place. So as I counted is 5 persons injured including one child.

These video shops have receive a letter from Pakistani Talban few months ago that they should close their video shops, so this is the response from their side. Now there is no day in Pakistan without a bomb blast. What will happens next ? we can only hope for better….

Clashes in Hangu with Talban takes life of 17 security personals: Pakistan

Twenty-two people including security personnel were killed in fresh clashes in Hungu region.

A convoy of security forces traveling in two vehicles from Shanawarai Fort to Doaba came under attack by militants in Daurai. This resulted in the deaths of 22 people including security men.

Talibans have claimed that their man Zarim Khan was killed in the clash while two others were injured seriously.

Security forces retaliated by firing shells at Talilbans hideouts while gunship helicopters hovered over the area.

Eleven people including nine security men were injured during US air strike in Angoor Ada area near Wana.

US jets carried out bombardment in Angoor Ada area last night. Nine security officials and two civilians were injured whereas two vehicles had been destroyed in the air strike.

The injured were shifted to Wana hospital.

Musharraf to be Impeached Unless He Resigns

Co-chairman Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari said that if President Pervez Musharraf does not quit, Parliament may impeach him under the democratic process.

Addressing a press conference with prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in Saudi Arabia, Asif Zardini said that only the parliament has an authority of sending president and prime minister back home.

Commenting on President Musharraf’s talks with senior journalists, Asif Ali Zardari said that he had already advised the President to quit, and informed him that Parliament has full authority to decidehis future if he will not.

Asif Zardari added that the judges President Musharraf sacked last year may be restored through the constitutional package.
