Explaining Death

As a Christian how do you view death?

Should it not be seen as a graduation celebration, rather than something to be mourned?

If you view it as the loss of someone you either knew, or, someone you loved, and mourn their passing, then, you've missed the picture completely. You've failed to see the big picture and God's way of viewing death. You've fail to ask God about it and to hear God's explanation for death.

At Jesus baptism, we are told by the Gospel writers that the Holy Spirit descends in the form of a dove upon Jesus. We are further told that the Spirit of God leads Jesus into the wilderness and that Jesus is tested by satan.

The Holy Spirit is with Jesus throughout his ministry but Jesus knows that this same spirit must be returned back to the Father so that it can at a later date be dispatched by Jesus to descend upon the apostles and become a part of them and also a part of all Christians, who choose to be like Jesus and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

LUKE: 23:46; "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit." What Jesus is actually saying here, is Father God, take back this spirit for I no longer require it. It belongs to you sor I now return it back to you.

Fact is, we all belong to almighty God. We were all created in God's image. Therefore we are all spirit beings. That said it stands to reason our true being as infinite spirits, is temporary using a mortal finite body temporary host while we serve God here on earth performing whatever deeds God has willed us to do.

God requires us to learn to love him as he loves us, and to learn how to become obedient and subservient, so that we do not fall into the same egotistical, self-righteous, prideful, path as satan and his followers did. Therefore, God decided to place us into frail, vulnerable human bodies to learn how.

God's holy Spirit walks with our spirit to teach and to guide, to help and to provide, until we have learned to become as God desires for us. Only then will the Holy Spirit inform Our Father, that we are ready to return home to heaven to be with God.

Death, is something that should be celebrated. We should be happy and rejoice, when someone dies, for it means that Our Father God, has called home to be with him in heaven, one of his children. It means that God is ready to welcome one of his own created, back into his home and embrace them once again as a prodigal child, and a brother, or sister to Jesus.

If you look at death in those terms, how can anyone see death as a loss, something to be sad about and something to mourn over. If you really stop to think about it, if we are going to mourn or feel sad, it should be because we are still on earth and God hasn't called us home yet.

So I see death as a graduation ceremony not something to be sad about and mourn but something to celebrate and be joyous about, because one of our friends or loved ones has finally graduated.

Since we are actually spirit being, living temporarily in a fleshly body and fleshly existance, death is merely the spirit returning back to a spiritual existance in order to re-join God in heaven and nothing more.

Mourning is merely self pity!

Are You A Hyphenated Christian?

I love to make people think.

I enjoy seeing the light turn on when they suddenly get the point that God has asked me to explain to enlighten them.

Are you a hyphenated "Christian"?

I Am A Christian!

I was brought up in the Roman Catholic Faith and temporarily brainwashed into following and believing what the Roman Catholic Church teaches until I turned 13 years of age and discovered the Holy Bible and God's teachings in it. I quickly learned that infact I was a "Christian" not a Catholic and that some of the teachings of the Catholic Church were not scriptural nor were they scripturally correct or accurate. The Catholic church has a habit of twisting scripture to fit their teachings to serve their purpose, and even take scripture out of context to strengthen their stand on something.

Through God's insistence, I have remained in the Catholic church trying as often as possible to help other Catholics to see the light. Jesus tells us we are the light and it is our obligation to show others to the light, lighting the path back to God and heaven.

Regardless of whichever religious denomination you might associate with, are you permitted to think for yourself? Or,

Have you been brainwashed into thinking and believing whatever the leaders of whatever denomination teach and instruct?

Have you ever even bothered to pick up the Holy Bible and read it, I mean really read it, in order to learn and understand what Almighty God desires you to know and learn?

Would you not find it interesting to learn that maybe God and Jesus teachings clash with the teachings of whatever religious denomination you happen to belong to teaches?

If I told you that the road to heaven and a life with God as your "Father" was an easy and attainable path to take and follow, would you want to take it? The path to salvation is not as difficult as you might think, as a matter of fact it is down-right easy and simple.

Do you consider yourself Catholic, or Anglican, or Presbyterian, or, Protestant, or, Pentecostal, or, Baptist, or, any other of the hundreds of denominations known today?

I hear a lot of people telling me that they are Catholic-Christian, and Anglican-Christian, and Protestant-Christian, and Baptist-Christian, etc. and, when I ask which are they, they don't understand the question. Then after a moment or two of thought they will declare themselves as Catholic, or whatever other denomination. My next question really gets them thinking when I ask: Is not your denomination based upon Christ and Christianity and the teachings of the Holy Bible? Their answer is usually; "Well Yes". So I then ask then: Why don't you call yourself a "Christian" instead of referring to yourself as a hyphenated this or that? Are you not a true believer and follower of Jesus Christ and His teachings through the Holy Bible?

Fact of the matter is, if your "Denomination" regardless of what name it takes adopts the teachings of Jesus Christ regarding repentance and love of one's fellow man, as laid out in the Holy Bible, follows the teachings of Jesus, accepts Jesus crucifixion and his resurrection as truth, as fact, and believes that through accepting Jesus as saviour, that sin is forgiven by the cleansing power of his blood, call yourself what you will, you are in effect a "Christian"

To hyphenate your faith is to diminish it to lessen and cheapen it and to put some denomination, any denomination before christianity ie. Catholic-Christian only serves to devalue your beliefs as a true follower of Christ Jesus the Son of God. What an insult that is to both Jesus and to The Father.

Jesus teaches us at REVELATION: 3: 15-16; "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would that thou were cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth."

Being a hyphenated Christian makes you lukewarm.

Almighty God the creator of all things, be it the heavens, sun, moon, and sky, to planets, and all life therein mineral, vegetable, or flesh, crawling, walking, flying, or swimming, God created, creating from nothing and forming into substance.

Nothing exists without God having created it, nothing. God creates mankind and does so creating man in his own image and desires man, if man so chooses to, to worship God and be like God, but mankind instead chooses another path, the path of sin.

God then realizes that if God and mankind were to ever have an opportunity to have a loving relationship together, he, God would have to set down rules and a guideline for man to learn and follow that would lead man away from his sinful nature to become sin-free and sanctified because God could not and would not have anything to do with sin God hates sin.

A plan was put into motion by God. He would ask his son to become if you will a scape-goat for mankind and as the sinless son of God, accept the responsibility of receiving all of mankind's sin taking mans' sins upon himself for a period, thus permitting each man woman and child the possibility to achieve sinlessness, thus permitting man to once again have an opportunity to commune with God and worship God, if man so chose to do so.

The beginning of Religion:

God decides that for his plan to work, he would have to institute laws and rules for mankind and he does so through Moses passing on to Moses how the people who would choose to know God and worship God would have to live, in order to purify themselves, but God realized that mankind must choose to live according to his laws, He could not force them upon them. This was the beginning of all religion and mankind's choice to worship or not worship God.

Several thousand years pass by and God demonstrates his patience and mercy towards man as he teaches them how to live. Yet there was always someone who would choose to stray away from God's teachings, choosing to set themselves above God and his laws. Finally God decides that it's time for his son to fulfill his destiny chosen by God and God sends Jesus in the form of a child to experience life as a human, to teach man the only path to know God and to become the perfect human/God sacrifice, atoning for mans' sins.

The introduction of Christianity:

Jesus teaches man the only and proper way for man to achieve sanctification and achieve sinlessness.

Jesus teaches that if man simply loved one another and was willing to repent of his sinfulness, man would be forgiven his sins cleansed and sanctified thus allowing every man that chose this path, to have a loving relationship with God and regain the right to enter into heaven after they had died a fleshly death. All man had to do was to believe in the teachings Jesus taught, and live according to those teachings and one would be saved.

This was the beginning of Christianity the teaching and following of Jesus Christ's ways to salvation. As a part of man's true devotion to God, man was also required to share the teachings of Jesus as proof of mans' sincerity.

Christianity or the Christian movement began with Jesus who was declared by John the Baptist, and by others to be the fore-mentioned prophesised Christ and Messiah. Jesus also attests to this to his disciples as well as to Caiaphas and Pilate during his trial before being crucified.

Other religious denominations are still Christian as long as they adopt the principles taught by Jesus, even if they might add their own interpretations to some of Jesus teachings. The interpretations may or may not be correct, but that is up to God and Jesus to decide.

The time of Pentecost is not a one day event on some calendar as some religions teach. In truth God's Holy Spirit dwells within each and everyone of us constantly from the day we are conceived, until the day we leave this temporary plain of existance. He is teaching, us guiding, assisting us, providing us, as God wills.

A Wakeup Call For Christians The Holy Spirit, The Neglected Member Of The Trinity Of God

As Christians, we all believe and accept that we worship a "Triune" God, meaning that our God though one, is spiritually comprised of three distinct entities in one. God the Father, God the Son, (Christ Jesus) and the third, The Holy Spirit.

As Christians we all quickly and willingly thank and acknowledge Almighty God Our Father for all that he permits for us in our lives.

As Christians we all acknowledge Jesus Christ for his contributions as saviour and redeemer in our lives and in our futures, and rightfully so.

Sorrowfully though, we either forget or seldom acknowledge the contributions of the Holy Spirit in our lives. And how wrong is that. Jesus himself cautions us about sinning against the Holy Spirit. LUKE: 12:10:

If any one member of the Holy Trinity deserved extra worship and praise from mankind, in my way of thinking it might be the Holy Spirit, for he is with us constantly in our lives carrying out God's Will for us.

How is it that we can remember to honour and worship the Father and the Son, yet when it comes to giving praise and worship to the Holy Spirit the third member of the trinity of God we fall so shamefully short only acknowledging him during the period of Pentecost, when He is the one member who is with us constantly, He is the one delivering our prayers for our needs to the Father.

He is the one dwelling within us, who knows our deepest thoughts our direst needs even before we ourselves know them. He is the one who fulfills the Fathers will through us and delivers God's graces to us as we need them.

This is made apparent to us right in the beginning of the Holy Bible during the time of creation: God had just begun his creating, creating the heavens and the earth, in GENESIS:1:2; we read: "And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." So we can see from this that God and the Holy Spirit were working in conjunction with each other right from the very beginning. As God is getting ready to create man God says; "Let us make" man in "Our" image.

Few Christian acknowledge the importance of the Holy Spirit, until Jesus makes reference to Him both prior to his crucifixion and then again prior to his ascension but the Holy Spirit actually plays an important part in our life.

This is made evident to us through Almighty God though, in the book of PROVERBS: 8: 1-36; This whole chapter in Proverbs gives us incite to the importance of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. God's Holy Spirit carries and shares the total of God's wisdom and knowledge, to be shared with all mankind, as man requires it.

Wisdom and knowledge are priceless commodities and we never realize their worth until we apply them to life situations. The thing is though, wisdom and knowledge are gifts from God delivered by God's Holy Spirit, even though we might think we came up with the knowledge or the idea ourself and fail to give the Holy Spirit as God the third person of the trinity the deserved credit deserved for it.

God's Wisdom and knowledge has proven itself invaluable to mankind from learning how to make weapons and fire, upto and including cell phones, or sending a rocket into space for exploration. Every thought, thought, Every invention invented, is shared to man by God's Holy Spirit, as willed by the Father.

Everytime a seed becomes a plant, the Holy Spirit is active. Every time an animal of any kind comes to life, The Holy Spirit is active. Every time a child is born, it is through the Holy Spirit that life is sustained. Nothing but nothing takes place upon earth without God's Holy Spirit being a part in it, and this is all orchestrated under the command of God the Father.

When one requires God's Grace, or Mercy, or Love, when our needs whatever they might be are fulfilled, yes almighty God grants them to us but it is the Holy Spirit who delivers them unto us.

God is in action through the Holy Spirit on earth but the only time we as Christians actually acknowledge the Holy Spirit for all he does is around the time of Pentecost, when he manifests himself to the apostles of Christ.

As far as I know, since there is no scriptural or physical evidence of it God The Father has never set foot upon earth. Even in Eden with Adam and Eve it was the spirit of God whom Adam conversed with.

During the time of Noah it was the spirit of God that shared with Noah God's plans for global destruction. In Exodus it is the spirit of God that delivers the ten plagues unto Egypt and the spirit of God wh spreads the Red Sea, or provides Manna or life giving waters.

It is the spirit of God who teaches all of the various Israelite leaders and kings how to defeat the enemies of the Israelite peoples throughout the old testament of the bible from Exodus to Malachi.

It was the Holy Spirit of God who inseminated Mary with Jesus permitting God to take on human form. LUKE: 1: 35:

Think about it. Without the Holy Spirit of God, we as Christians would have no Jesus to worship. We would have no redeemer for our sins and we would difinitely not have any path back to our Father God, no path back home to heaven. Instead, we would still be filled with our own sins and no way to be sanctified and be able to call God Father. The lake of fire would probably be our final destination after life here on earth.

Opening The Door To God's Mansion

Here is Christ's Holy Commission to his apostles which extends down to every person who would become a Christian Follower of Our Lord Jesus. Since Jesus is given total authority this also becomes Christ's Holy Commandment.

MATTHEW: 28: 19-20; "Go ye therefore, and teach, all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to observe all the things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

MARK: 16: 15-16; "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth, and, is baptized, shall be saved; but, he that believeth not, shall be damned.

Christ makes it pretty straightforward to his disciples and to any person who would become a Christian believer and follower, what he wants them to do, preach his gospel, his teachings, to all nations in the world, and, to baptize all who believed in what Christ had taught and was willing to repent of their sinfulness. Christ also makes it pretty plain what one would face if they refused to change and become baptized.

The receiving of Baptism demonstrates one's willingness to repent, and be cleansed from their sins and to be spiritually re-born into Christianity and a new life.

This is my duty as a Christian Evangelist, to share with all who are willing to read what I write from God, through his Holy Spirit, in an effort to draw them closer to Jesus by sharing God's teachings. This is why I write the spiritual articles I write. I am reaching out to any person seeking to know God more intimately and to guide them to God.

No I cannot baptize anyone over the internet, but through their hunger for God, they can be guided to a place where they can receive baptism, become welcomed back into God's holy family, and receive the powers of the Holy Spirit.

Christ Jesus's Holy Commandments

JESUS HOLY COMMANDMENTS

We are all aware of God's Holy "Ten Commandments" as written in the book of Exodus in the Holy Bible.

They are pretty straight-forward dealing with loving and respecting God, and how we "should deal" with one another, with our fellow man.

Man thought the last seven of the ten commandments so important, man actually through time enacted them into laws of the land recognized today worldwide.

But are you aware that Jesus too issued "Commandments" to us that he expects us to follow thru with and carryout if we are to consider ourselves as "Christians" followers of Jesus Christ, his apostles? They can be found throughout the four Gospels.

I am going to provide a listing of:

52 Commandments issued by Jesus to his disciples and followers, and provide the biblical reference for you to read for yourself, the biblical quotation and context in which it was issued. This is not to say there are not more.

There are "Commandments" that were issued by the Apostles that are included in their various Epistles.

Because they are stated by the apostles, they are not lesser Commandments, for they are inspired by God and Jesus through the Holy Spirit and divinely recorded in God's Holy Word the Holy Bible.

Example:

I Corinthians: 14: 34-35; Though this was a commandment given by Paul to the Christian followers in Corinth, we know that Jesus personally chose Paul and we further know that Paul was instructed by Jesus and inspired by the Holy Spirit of God.

Therefore Paul's teachings are an extension of Jesus inspired by the Holy Spirit.

This cannot be in dispute, otherwise the Epistles and letters of Paul found in The Holy Bible put the entire bible under scrutiny including the Old testament as well as the (4) Gospels.

The very first one is directed especially at the Roman Catholics although it applies to all who consider themselves a "Christian".

1-A. Call no man Father, Neither call him Master. Matt: 23: 9-10

1 Do not tempt your God Matt: 4: 7

2. Repent Matt: 4: 17

3. Rejoice Matt: 5: 12

4. Settle matters quickly Matt: 5: 25

5. Get rid of whatever causes you to sin

Matt: 5: 29-30

6. Always keep your word and let your word match your heart Matt: 5: 34-37

7. Practice non-violent ressitance Matt: 5: 38-39

8. Give more than is demanded of you

Matt: 5: 40-42

9. Love your enemies Matt: 5: 43-45

10. Be Perfect Matt: 5: 48

11. Give, Pray, and Fast to please God, not to be seen Matt: 6: 1

13. Do not store up treasures on earth

Jesus Institutes The Last Supper

LUKE: 22: 15-20

15 And he said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.

16For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God."

17 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, "Take this and divide it among you.18For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it,

and gave it to them, saying,

in my blood, which is poured out for you.

MATTHEW: 26: 26-29

26 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it,

and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."27 Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.28This is my blood of the covenant which will be shared for you and for many for the remission of sins.

29I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you

in my Father's kingdom.""This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me."20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant

Through the last supper that Jesus has with his apostles prior to his crucifixion, Jesus ordains one of the most important, if not thee most important tenets in Christianity regarding how the people, the church of Christianity were to remember Jesus and celebrate him and his sacrifice of being crucified. One would think that Jesus apostles would be in total agreement as to the order that this celebration was to be carried out, but as we can readily see, both Matthew and Luke differ.

The Holy Bible, 99.99% of the time is in total agreeance with itself either old testament to new testament, or as is this case Gospel to Gospel, but in this one particular instance, the two apostles appear to disagree in the order in which Jesus sets up this ceremony.

In Luke's accounting, Jesus firsts takes the cup and blesses it and then hands it to his apostles to partake, and then he takes the bread blesses it and hands it out to be distributed. In verse 20 Jesus merely explains the importance of the cup of wine.

In Matthew's accounting Jesus first distributes the bread, and then the cup of wine.

It may not be important to most Christians, in which order Jesus carried out this newly ordained tenet or sacrament as it is referred, but one would think that since both apostles were present and witnessed the "First Holy Communion" implimented by Jesus, that both apostles would be in agreement as to exactly what transpired and its order.

I CORINTHIANS: 11:23-26

23 For I received from the Lord

what I also passed on to you:   which is for you; do this in remembrance of me."25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenantin my blood;

"26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.

We notice that Paul's teaching to the various congregations that he set up and instructed regarding the celebration ceremony of Communion agrees with Matthew completely but not with Luke's accounting so far as the order of things is concerned.

The apostle Paul as well as other apostles, travels from church to church, country to country, establishing new Christian congregation churches and teaching as Jesus taught and instructed, performing baptisms, performing miracles, and celebrating Jesus last supper in these new Christian churches demonstrating how each church was to hold service, as well as how the people should act and live as members in the new Christian Church of Christ Jesus.

This tenet, ceremonially ordained and first ceremoniously carried out by Jesus, is cemented into Christian Church dogma and policy, today commonly known as Holy Communion, aka. The Last Supper.

One who is truly Christian, when they receive communion, spiritually through the eyes of their spirit will indeed see Jesus body in the communion bread, and know that it is Jesus Blood that they drink, even when their human eyes see a wafer and taste wine or grape juice.

One last point of interest: As a Christian, attending in a Catholic Church, I often witness churches who for whatever the reason, only serve the communion host. This is ceremonially wrong. If Jesus only desired us to receive the bread host, he would have said so. If this happens in your parish regardless of the denomination demand both bread and wine. It is ordered by Jesus and no church has the right to simply arbitrarilly change tenet instituted by Jesus.

Some may consider me a nit picker for addressing this but as Christians we expect consistency especially in the scriptures and to find this tiny flaw and not draw it to the attention of my fellow Christians could be an ommission of fact on my part. I do not want this for myself. Like Paul, I desire clarity of teachings and of scripture.

The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body,

do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.

Worshipping Idols Is A Major Sin So Why Do Catholics Do It

Almighty God says that "Idol Worshipping" is sinful and commands mankind to avoid it, so why does the Roman Catholic Church recommend praying to statues and/or images of Mary and/or "Saints"?

Why does the Roman Catholic Church teach that these others have any special intercessory influence with Jesus? How do they scripturally justify this kind of teaching?

Any time you pray to Mary or to some saint to intercede for you, it is "Idol Worshipping" plain and simple, for you are in essence saying that the power of God the power of Jesus not enough, and that God or Jesus is influenced by these others, detracting from the teachings of God and Jesus in the Holy Bible. This diminishes Jesus and Jesus interaction of interceding for us.

Jesus says in JOHN: 11: 25-26; Jesus tells us that it is he, Jesus we should place our trust and faith and belief in. He says nothing about Mary, or Peter, or Paul, or Andrew, only Jesus himself should we pray to and trust in for Jesus is God, the son of God and only Jesus can influence the Father.

ISAIAH:44: 8c-22 "Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; and the idols they worship

are nothing, and the things they treasure are worthless.

Those who would speak up for them are blind;

they are ignorant, to their own shame.

10 Who shapes a god and casts an idol,

which can profit him nothing?

11 He and his kind will be put to shame;

craftsmen are nothing but men. Let them all come together and take their stand; they will be brought down to terror and infamy.

12 The blacksmith

takes a tool and works with it in the coals; he shapes an idol with hammers, he forges it with the might of his arm.

He gets hungry and loses his strength; he drinks no water and grows faint.

13 The carpenter

measures with a line and makes an outline with a marker; he roughs it out with chisels and marks it with compasses. He shapes it in the form of man,

of man in all his glory, that it may dwell in a shrine.

14 He cut down cedars, or perhaps took a cypress or oak. He let it grow among the trees of the forest, or planted a pine,

and the rain made it grow. 15 It is man's fuel

for burning; some of it he takes and warms himself, he kindles a fire and bakes bread. But he also fashions a god and worships

it; he makes an idol and bows

down to it. 16 Half of the wood he burns in the fire; over it he prepares his meal, he roasts his meat and eats his fill. He also warms himself and says, "Ah! I am warm; I see the fire.

" 17 From the rest he makes a god, his idol; he bows down to it and worships.

He prays

to it and says, "Save

me; you are my god." 18 They know nothing, they understand

nothing; their eyes

are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand. 19 No one stops to think, no one has the knowledge or understanding

to say, "Half of it I used for fuel;

I even baked bread over its coals, I roasted meat and I ate. Shall I make a detestable

thing from what is left? Shall I bow down to a block of wood?"

20 He feeds on ashes,

a deluded

heart misleads him; he cannot save himself, or say, "Is not this thing in my right hand a lie?

" 21 "Remember

these things, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel.

I have made you, you are my servant;

O Israel, I will not forget you.

22 I have swept away

your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return

to me, for I have redeemed you."

In these scriptures from the book of Isaiah, God reminds us that there is no other real God, except for The Lord.

God also reminds us that He is like a rock that He is the one real God.

God reminds us of his commandment about worshipping him as God and his instruction with regards to worshipping idols as laid out in EXODUS:20: 2-5:

As one carefully reads through these scriptures, if you happen to be Roman Catholic, they should bring to mind the various pictures, statues and trinkets that one might find in the home like statues of Mary, or a statue of some "Saint", maybe a rosary.

In the eyes of the Catholic Church these would be considered "Icons" or religious items. Some Catholics will actually pray to a statue of Mary the mother of Jesus, or to the statue of some "Saint" praying for intervention with Jesus, believing that either Mary or the "Saint" has a special right to intercede for the one praying. But this is not what Jesus teaches us in the Holy Scriptures.

Looking at JOHN:14: 6; Jesus tells his apostle Thomas;

"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

In other words, if you are seeking the narrow path to salvation, Jesus is the one and only path.

If you are seeking an intercessor to intercede for you with Almighty God the Father, again Jesus is the only path, the only intercessor.

Only Jesus can ready your spirit cleansing it from sin.

Only Jesus can intercede between man and God the Father.

On the day of one's death, when one stands before God, Jesus is the one who will proclaim you as one of his, thus sparing your spirit damnation and total separation from God for eternity.

Therefore it is non-scriptural to pray to Mary, though she be the mother of Jesus for her words carry no weight with Jesus in heaven. This also includes praying to any "Saint" icon statue or picture.

One might also question as to whether a statue, or, a photograph, or a crucifix of Jesus Christ himself is not idol worshipping, even though one is praying to Jesus directly.

Scripture proves out at MATTHEW: 12: 47-50 the lack of importance to Jesus that his mother has. Also at JOHN: 19: 26-27 Jesus does not address Mary as mother, but as woman. We observe this also in JOHN: 2: 4: whereby Jesus addresses Mary as woman not mother showing no special treatment to Mary because she bore him.

Attention Roman Catholics This One's For You

There is no such thing as a "Venial Sin".

According to the Roman Catholic teaching, awareness and intent are how one discerns whether one has committed a "Mortal Sin" or, a "Venial Sin". This is nothing but rationalization and pure nonsense regardless of what any priest or the Catholic church tries to teach.

This is wrong teaching by the church.

There is nothing scriptural in God's Holy Bible to substantiate this falsehood. There is no scripture whereby God says this sin or that sin is lesser than some other and God does not rationalize that intent or awareness enter into the picture.

The Roman Catholic Church invented this "Venial Sin" thing in order to ease people's consciences, but that doesn't excuse the fact that a sin is a sin.

Once we know God's "10 Commandments" and are able to understand what they are about, we become responsible for our actions in the eyes of God.

In other words, if you break one of God's 10 Commandments and where not aware that you broke it, you have still sinned but because you were not aware of it, it has less importance in God's eyes.

Uh uh! not true.

Furthermore, every sin one can commit violates on of God's 10 Commandments and this becomes evident if one simply stops and examines the sin closely.

Even our court system that deals with every crime conceivable tells us that "Ignorance of the law, is no excuse" in other words "I didn't know" holds no water as far as the courts are concerned.

Here are a couple of examples of a lack of awareness.

You're in the produce department of a grocery store and you start sampling berries, or nuts and you consider it testing for freshness. When you get to the cash, do you offer to pay for what you sampled?

Do you even admit to doing this?

Does "Thou shalt not steal" even come to mind?

Probably not, but the truth of the matter is you have stolen from the profits of that store.

If you were observed by store security, you could get arrested and charged with petty theft.

How about if you are drunk out of your mind unaware of what you are doing and you get into your car to drive home and on the way you lose control of the car and smash into a water hydrant.

Okay so no one is hurt.

You were drunk. You were impaired. You were definitely unaware, so does that make the situation any less offensive. Not likely!

As a matter of fact you will probably spend the night in Jail sleeping it off, awaken in the morning with a hangover, and still have to answer to the courts for the damage, plus you could lose your licence.

Intent, I didn't intend to or I didn't mean to do this or that, is also no excuse.

The fact is you did it regardless of intent. Your punishment may be less severe, but you still did the deed and you must answer for your actions.

Here are examples of Lack of "Intent"

Your dad has this pristeen antique automobile that he loves. He rebuilt it and cares for it and won't let you drive it.

Dad's away so you decide to take it for a spin thinking you will be careful and get it back without dad knowing, but while you are backing out of the driveway, you accidentally hit the garbage can and scratch the car.

You had no intent for anything but still it happened. You put the car back and pretend like nothing happened.

Dad returns and notices the scratch on his antique car and you pretend like you knew nothing, until your guilt gets the better of you and you confess to what happened.

You covetted your dad's car.

You gave false witness.

You dishonored your dad and yourself in the process.

In other words you broke 3 of the 10 Commandments, but you didn't have intent. How does a lack of intent make your sins any less.

You're going out on a date and you tell your date, you love the sweater they are wearing, when in fact you really hate it and you think it is ugly, but you want to make them feel good and you don't want to hurt their feelings.

Does "Thou Shalt not bear false witness" come to mind as you do this?

Ah! but you had good intentions, you didn't want to hurt or upset your date and maybe lose the chance for the date.

As humans we try to rationalize our actions by saying things like "I didn't know" or, "I didn't mean that" or, "I didn't mean for that to happen" but, that doesn't excuse the fact that we did what we did, or said what we said.

Let's take a look at sinning and how it perceived by God. In God's eyes, sin is sin regardless of its severity.

In God's eyes, and the way God thinks, God hates sin and sees sin as an abomination something to revile and detest.

There is no where in God's holy scriptures in the Holy Bible, where God acknowledges such a thing as a lesser sin. Every sin committed violates one of God's Holy 10 Commandments. That is why God gave them to us.

In the book of Leviticus, God goes to great length to illustrate to the Israelites God's chosen, and to us too the many different things that God holds as an abomination to him and the consequences from God for breaking one of his laws or rules.

Just because we didn't know, or we didn't intend the sin, fact is God still sees it as a sin.

We will sin. God knows this. It is our nature as imperfect humans to do so.

That is why our Holy Father asked Jesus to step up, to become human, to be scouraged and crucified and resurrected.

God knew that a perfect Godly sacrifice was the only way that our sins could be erased so that we could become cleansed and purified.

Yes in the day of Abraham, and Moses, and down through the old testament times God required a burnt offering sacrifice for sin, but when Jesus appears and begins his ministry that changes. Jesus through his ultimate sacrifice on the cross becomes the perfect unblemished "Lamb of God" sacrifice to satisfy almighty God, once and for all.

The Prophet Isaiah Chosen By God

ISAIAH:6:5-12;

Then said I, woe is me! for I am undone because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth and said, Lo this has touched thy lips; and thy iniquity is taken away, and thy sin is purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send and whom will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. And he said, Go and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see indeed but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and convert and be healed. Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate. And the Lord have removed men from afar and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

As we give witness, we see that the prophet Isaiah is chosen by God to go amongst fallen ones possibly fallen angels followers of Lucifer, and Isaiah is instructed to fatten their hearts, make their ears heavy and shut their eyes to prevent them from becoming aware of God and that fact that God is going to remove the believers of Christ and lay the lands desolate.

ISAIAH: 6:13;

But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast down their leaves, so the Holy Seed shall be the substance thereof.

This is a fore-telling of the "End Times" and Gods plan to desolate earth. Isaiah is also told that there will come the Holy Seed to make things anew.

We are told through Isaiah that once Jesus has laid to waste and made desolate the lands through his return and cleansing away the unbelievers Jesus along with the chosen followers will replenish and build anew.

Striving To Do The Impossible

I first heard this song from the broadway musical the Man of La Mancha in 1972 when it first hit the broadway stage.

As a music lover and as a Christian who loves and serves God with music, this song grabbed hold of me immediately as it expressed and illustrated and demonstrated in a very strong way, how I, how we, as Christians must proceed in our daily lives, as we strive to be like Jesus and struggle along our path leading us toward heaven and toward our Father God.

This is and must be our ultimate objective if we are to truly call ourself a Christian and be recognized by God truly as a brother to Christ Jesus.

As Christians we are asked by Jesus to be like Jesus in our everyday lives, and as mere humans, this is an impossible command to fulfill for we are not God or Jesus the "Son of God" nor do we have the will-power to be like God or Jesus, yet we are asked to be so just the same.

If you really stop and think about it, as a human we can "Will" nothing. God willed into creation all that was created or ever will be created. God merely willed it or thought it into being, but we as mortals have no such power. The best we can do is to choose something, choose a path to follow, to do, or, not to do that which befalls us in our lives.

THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far

To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For a heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star

The impossible dream is possible when we rely upon God to make it so. Trusting In God, putting our Faith in God, even when we see things as impossible through our human limitations, demonstrates a true belief that God is real and that our God is so awesome that he can accomplish anything asked of him.
