The Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani admits stealing in an article in the Friday, November 23rd, 2007 NY Times http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/23/us/politics/23food.html?ref=politics
As he campaigns in Iowa our would-be president can be seen "And on a springtime stop at a pizzeria in Des Moines, he traveled from table to table of voters, filching some of their food as he went. " Jodi Kantor reported this in the NY Times. Giuliani complained "You ate all your food…I have no food I can steal."
Yes, the braggart from New York City admits to his habitual stealing from the public.
But as a liberal or big government conservative or moderate or what have you, isn’t theft what Rudy Giuliani let alone his opponents like La Clinton ("Don’t cry for me America") are all about? Just they usually engage in legalized theft. Mayor Giuliani gave sweetheart deals to sports teams at the expense of taxpayers, to give but one example.
Of all the major party candidates, the only candidate against legalized theft is libertarian Republican, Congressman and Dr. Ron Paul (R-T(www.RonPaul2008.com). Even he isn’t perfect in my view.
Only you can stop legalized theft in Washington, your state capital, your County seat and your City Hall. Don’t vote for candidates of any party who believe it is right to take your money, your land or that of others to give to favored individuals and groups. Reject candidates who favor subsidies or import restrictions or eminent domain abuse.
