Upper West Siders March in Protest on 5th Anniversary of Iraq War

March 19th marked the official 5 year anniversary of US occupation of Iraq. Demonstrations were conducted throughout the country this week, many aimed at raising awareness about the ongoing costs of the war and to protest US military and foreign policy. Anti- War Rally at Rose Hill Campus

On February 15, members of the Fordham University Anti-War Coalition protested the Iraq War at the Rose Hill campus in the Bronx. The rally, organized by the Fordham Anti-War Coalition, took place in front of Fordham's McGinley building, and featured speaker Ray McGovern and live music.
