Interview can be defined as formal meeting with a person to assess his opr her merits or obtain information. The person who organised the interview is called interviewer while, the person who is being interviewed is called the interviewee. 1 Packaging: this means how you look,dress,smell,etc.Your smile and show of confidence goes a long way in determining success in an interview. Many interviewers judge heavily on first impression. so make sure it is a good one. Be immaculate- from manicured fingernails to polished shoes.Dress conservatively- at least for the first round of interviewers.That means no loafers or sports jackets for men on the first interview.Women should not make mistake of getting too dressed up.Wear a simple hair style with a minimium of make-up.Don”t rely on make-up to make you look mature It”s the way you handle yourself that tells the best story.Your APPLLICATION, CURRICULUM VITAE OR RESUME should be well written. Correct spelling and records prevoius working experience and achievements. Use your achievements to express your qualities and skills.An employer will pay attention to skill demostrated by an achievement. A good accomplishment statement will show that you can do one or more of the following: Improve performance, expand the number of customers being served, Reduce costs, Reduce time, provide better controls, cut waste,Improve salres, Improve reliability, solve problems, increase efficiency, make operations more efficient and improve working conditions.You might want to use the following accomplishment statements as models in making your own.

In a forthright but low key way, make clear the job you want, your qualification for that particular job, your background/ and your general goals for the future. This ”” sales pitch”” sould last only a minute or two.Afterward, answer the interviewer”s questions honestly and openly. Give more than just one- word answer.The interviewer is asking question in an attempt to get a conversation started. 3 EXPERIENCE: Means knowledge or skill gained by observing facts or events, practised in doing something.
