The Philadelphia Phillies beat the Tampa Bays Rays last night. The prize? The Phillies are the champions of the World Series. The final score was 4-3, the game was played at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. The 5th game which was planned to be played on Monday was played on Wednesday. The reason? Severe storms on Monday left the game in a suspension mode while in the 6th inning at the score tied two to two. That marked the first time and World Series game had been put on hold. The game continued on Wednesday after Brad Lidge helped give the Rays their 3rd strike. Congrats Phils!
