Stephanie Nielson, a mother of four from Mesa, Arizona and author of the blog the Nie Nie Dialogues, is finding support and courage from her readers after she was in a plane crash that left her critically injured.

Stephanie Nielson suffered burns on 90 percent of her body, the third passenger was killed and Christian was also injured, although not as badly.
Stephanie Nielson has authored the Nie Nie Dialogues since 2005, chronicling life with her children– Claire, 6, Jane, 5, Oliver, 3 and Nicholas, 23 months. She published stories, photos and anecdotes about the good times and bad times of life as a mother, wife, friend and sister. What started as a hobby meant for her family and friends turned into a blog with fans and followers across the country.
In the wake of the crash, supporters of Nielson’s blog have worked alongside her family to raise money for the couple and their family. They sold items from the Nielson family archives including bridesmaid dresses and shoes worn by the children. Organizers say they might raise as much as $100,000 when it is all said and done. Interested parties can also donate in a number of different ways online at www.nierecovery.com.
Best wishes to Stephanie Nielson and her family in hopes of a speedy recovery. And thank you to those who have supported her and continue to do so.
