Doda/Jammu,June 16, (Scoop News)- Two people were killed and twenty one injured in Mini-Bus mishap in Doda.
Official spokesman said that a Mini-Bus bearing Registration No. JK11-1169 which was on its way from Doda to Bhagwah, skidded of f the road and rolled down into a deep gorge near Balwas in Bhagwah Block of District Doda and left 2 passengers dead and 21 injured.
Among the injured, 5 critical were airlifted for advanced treatment to Srinagar and one was shifted to Government Medical College, Jammu for treatment, while as those suffering minor injuries were admitted in District Hospital Doda,spokesman said..
Those who died in the mishap are Aamir son of Gul Mohd of Chapnari and Ghulam Nabi son of Sikander Nabi of Dhandal.
Five critically injured persons who were shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment are, Zia-Ul-Haq son of Khalid Batt Of Doda, Shahid Hussain son of Ab. Queem of Kotal, Javaid Ahmed son of Gh. Qadir Butt of Kuddhar, Kissar Singh son of Omkar Singh of Manjmi , Nasir Majeed son of Mohd. Amin of Doda.
Those who suffered minor injuries and were admitted to District Hospital Doda are, Sheenu Faraha daughter of Tasadiq Kelam of Akramabad Doda, Ranjeet Singh Son of Bharat Singh of Pul Doda, Mohd. Amin Son of Gul Mohd. of Menchar Bhagwah, Mohd. Kafayat Son of Mohd Sharief of Akramabad Doda, Muzamil Khan Son of Khushi Mohd. of Akramabad, Amit Singh Son of Rajesh Singh of Chulas Bhagwah, Sansari Devi wife of Rajesh of Chulas Bhagwah, Kamal Singh Son of Prem Singh Of Gaddi Dessa, Shokena daughter of Gh. Mohd. Parray of Menchar , Muneera Begum wife of Gh. Mohd. of Menchar, Ashiq Alahi Son of Abdul Hamid of Gurmul, Muneera Begum wife of Mohd. Amin of Kuddhar, Reviti Raman Son of Jagat Singh of Kanhal, Mohd. Yasoof Son of Gh. Ahmed Batt Of Kastigarh, Taseen Banoo daughter of Mohd Iqbal of Kuddhar and Rakesh Kumar Gupta Son of Hans Raj Gupta of Doda.
Meanwhile Minister for Roads & Buildings and Mechanical Engineering, Abdul Majid Wani today visited District Hospital Doda to supervise the relief and Medicare treatment being provided to the injured persons Jammu for treatment, while as those suffering minor injuries were admitted in District Hospital Doda.
Wani along with District Development Commissioner, Doda Mubarak Singh and SSP Doda M.S Chouhan immediately rushed to District Hospital Doda to supervise the ongoing treatment being provided to the injured.
Wani directed hospital authorities to provide best available Medicare facilities to the injured. He also interacted with the injured persons and enquired about the treatment being provided to them besides wishing them early recovery.
Expressing grief and sorrow over the death of two passengers in the mishap, The Minister said that all possible help and relief would be provided to the next of the kin of those who lost their lives in the accident. He expressed his condolences with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
