Several studies have put complete repair of depleted parts of the ozone layer and fizzling out of harmful gases there to around year 2050, some years on according to certain predictions may present negative effects of Global Warming if Climate Change controls are not applied from now.
Ozone Layer depletion was news many years ago leading to agreements by Nations to cut the use of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS). The ozone layer is important for life on Earth by protecting against harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiations. A depleted part of the ozone layer is usually called Ozone Hole.
The ozone hole is linked in certain studies to Climate Change and is dangerous to man & the environment because of harmful UV rays penetration. Global Warming and the Ozone Layer have points of reference at the Upper atmosphere. Global Warming occurs from the Troposphere (about 10-19km above sea level) and Ozone Layer is found at the Stratosphere (about 20-48km above sea level).
ODS reduction agreements have made individuals, organizations and Nations ozone layer conscious making many say ozone depletion is a settled issue. On the other hand, Climate Change in efforts of environmental protection agencies of certain Nations is being combated by watching for careless emissions of Green House (or heat trapping) Gases.
International agreements to fight Climate Change may come soon but what ‘will’ come from Ozone Depletion or Climate Change cannot be exactly predicted. This calls for approach from the upper atmosphere especially for the Ozone Layer where reactions principally occur.
If oxygen, a principal gas in reactions at the ozone layer is carried in liquid form by unmanned aircraft to the ozone layer and discharged as gas, it should add to the amount of oxygen gas available for reactions there and join in reactions to reduce depletion and increase protection. Solutions as this prepared and worked out will hold down threats of what may suddenly come.
