So many families on sunday in lagos, Nigeria, were sad and in grief when an oil tanker crashed and caught fire. The tragic accident happened on the Ibadan expressway on sunday night. No fewer than 30 lives were burnt to death. Seven vehicles at the scene of the incident could not survive the huge blazing fire that resulted from the tankers’s crash.
The tanker was fully loaded with fuel.Not only were the humans and materials involved in the accident burnt, yhey were roasted beyond recognition. The accident, which occured at about 9.00p.m, involved three commuter buses and four cars. The accident occurred near Redeemed Chritian Church of God( Rccg) camp.
Officials of the Frrs, police and fire services were seen retrieving burnt bodies, and assisting in controlling the traffic. On october 25, 17 of the 18 passengers in a commuter bus were also killed in an accident at Ogunmakin area of the expressway.
