Shopian, February 11, (Scoop News)-The District Development Commissioner Shopian, Bashir Ahmed Bhat today chaired District Level RSETI Advisory Committee (DLRAC) meeting in which various representatives of banks and the Government departments participated.
The meeting was informed that 392 against the target of 500 persons have been trained in Dress designing, Hand embroidery, agriculture and allied EDPs etc during the current financial year.
The committee also approved the Annual Action Plan of RSETI 2015-16 after detailed discussions. Total target of 505 persons have been set for training in dress designing, plumbing works, fashion designing, electrical appliances and wiring, oil pump repairing and Horticulture related works.
While speaking on the occasion, the DDC directed the RSETI to focus on outcome and follow up of trained persons so as to enable them to start out their own ventures.
He asked the Director RSETI to focus on Melhura Village, identified under Sansaad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) by Member Parliament Mst. Mehbooba Mufti.
Among other officers, AddI. Deputy Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Project’ Coordinator of Monitoring Cell and Director RSETI were present in the meeting.
