Poetry From The Heart
Moist lips wait…
a moment to touch mouths
anxiety overtakes the soul.
A hand strokes the face
lips tremble as edginess captures
a heart stinging for love.
Newness awaits the climax
trembling in the pit of the stomach
causing a tickling in the throat.
A flush cause’s perspiration to build
a sickness awaits the seconds’
excitement builds to covet release.
Eyes sealed thirsty for the rush
time becomes an ending eternity
opening of eyeballs…
puckered lips without a partner
a disappointing misleading ploy…
Moist lips wait a first kiss.
