The Iranian president is all confrontational and so with his presidential guards. He shows no sign of backing down in his moves to continue enriching his stockpile of uranium. The West, especially the US believes Iran is developing nuclear weapon. But Iran is always in denial, accusing instead the Bush administration of interfering on its own state of affairs. Iran is unpredictable and if the world blinks, nations will be facing nuclear warhead pointed at them. The rhetoric that Iran is showing is somewhat dangerous. The confrontational attitude of Iran’s leadership brings fear not only to its neighbors but to the entire world.
Nuclear armed Iran could be disastrous knowing that their leaders are religious hardliners. Their threat to wipe out Israel off the world’s map has a trembling effect to the peace loving people of the world. And Iran is serious about the threat. Just recently, Iran bragged of their quick response if someone attacked them. Their military can fire thousands of missiles in just a minute upon launched. What will happen then if this kind of situation prevails in our midst? Could it be another war the world will be witnessing? I hope not, because if that happens, the world will never be the same again.
