All Primary Teachers Association kicked their protest campaign
CHITRAL: All Primary Teachers Association (APTA) Chitral kicked their protest by binding black strips on their Arms. Provincial president of APTA Malik Khalid also arrived here to Chitral. He was received at Chitral airport by cabinet of APTA Chitral under supervision of Muhammad Ashraf district president of APTA. They went to government primary school Dawashash were they tide black strips on their hands and announced of their protest movement in favor of their demands. They demand 20% Quota in Senior English Teachers posts. Abolishing of one time promotion. Enhancing of basic scale of primary teachers to give them Basic Pay Scale 12 on 10 years service BPS 14 on completion of 15 years service, scale 15 on 20 years service, scale 16 on 25 years service and giving scale 17 to primary teachers on completion of 30 years service. They also demand advance increments on acquiring higher academic qualification. Restoration of teacher’s son’s quota, regularizing of contract teachers. They also demanded establishment of board of intermediate and secondary Education at Chitral. They demanded from Vice chancellors and chairman board for giving preference to local teachers in examination duty. They also demanded for increasing in conveyance and fire wood allowance as well as recruiting of theology teachers in all primary schools of Khyber Pahtoonkhwa. They also demanded for implementation and teaching of equal syllabus in all private and government school. They also announce that a protest get together will be held on Sunday and their protest will be extended to all province.
