Over 10 activists of the Shri Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti (SASS) were injured in clashes with police on Saturday in
While addressing hundreds of supporters and activists of the saffron brigade outside the Abhinav Theatre, Samiti convenor Leela Karan Sharma, announced the call for two-day
Sharma said ”We had a permission to organise the function in remembrance of those sacrificed their lives during two-month long agitation but administration did not allowed us to enter the venue,”. He said,” it hints that government is not in favour of smooth sailing of state affairs.” We were assured full cooperation after a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between us and the government on August 31 but still some of our demands were lying on the table including quashing of the Public Safety Act (PSA) on saint Dinesh Bharti, the Samiti leader asserted.
