APMCC asks politicians to refrain from playing divisive politics

Jammu, July 24 (Scoop News)-All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) has taken a strong exception to the statements of certain politicians calling Kashmir as international issue and playing divisive politics in Kashmir.

Reacting to the statements of politicians for the past some time where politicians of all hues have adopted a habit of blaming everything on Indian state in their bid to woo separatists of Kashmir, APMCC General Secretary Advocate Arun Kandroo, asked politicians to refrain from playing divisive politics in Kashmir.

In a statement issued here he said that politicians of all hues even NC and Congress besides Akali Dal leader Simranjit Singh Maan have been issuing such statements which put India in the dock forgetting that they were Indian citizens first.

Kandroo said that Mann’s contention that Kashmir was an international issue was to play the divisive politics to seek political mileage from the current volatile situation in the state.

He said that Kashmir situation was the creation of Pakistan sponsored terrorism and reminded him to recall the happenings of Kabaili Raid in Baramulla in 1947.
He also came down heavily on the leaders of ruling coalition who tried to play one up-man-ship during recent Gool firing incident in which 4 innocent lives were lost.
He asked the politicians to refrain from issuing such statements which might vitiate the communal brotherhood in the state adding while everybody including PCC president, ministers and legislators denounced BSF without verifying the facts it was later found that local police was involved in the firing incident.

He asked the nationalist forces not to hide their heads at this juncture when everybody was trying to denounce our country and security forces who are doing a commendable job of protecting the citizens as well as exercising maximum restraint from affecting any collateral damage while fighting terrorism in J&K, asking them to react to such issues promptly.
