Be united in workng for Kashmir interests:PDP

Srinagar,November 28 (Scoop News) – Senior PDP leader and MLA Sangrama Syed Basharat Bukhari has
called upon all political parties to work for the interests of people of Kashmir. He said that any discrimination in plan fund allocations and recruitments should be fought with tooth and nail.
Bukhari was addressing a large gathering of youth in Watergam in his constituency where sports kits worth Rs 6 lakh were distributed among 80 clubs. He said that youth have an important role in development of the state. Urging the youth to come forward to identify the best possible human resource he said “we do not lack talent and competence but the right people face tough times in getting their due”.
Emphasizing need to promote physical education he said he would encourage these activities that is why “I am providing you with these kits so that you are not mentally disturbed for these things”. The youth had come from 70 villages of Sangrama constituency and was the
biggest youth meet in recent times.
Bukhari asked the political parties to shun their complacency and come forward to fight against the discrimination with people of Kashmir. “We should not compromise on this vital issue and raise our voice against discrimination meted out to us in terms of fund allocation under developmental schemes and recruitments” he said adding that denial of justice leads to chaos. “IT is the merit which should prevail and not the political considerations,” he said.
District head of Sports Council Baramulla Mushtaq Ahmad impressed upon youth to take advantage of government schemes through which stadia are built and other facilities are provided. The Nehru Yuva Kendra co-ordinator also spoke on the occasion and asked the youth get their sports clubs registered to avail benefit under various schemes.
The youth of the area hailed the MLA for the steps he had taken to boost the sports activity in the constituency.
