Jammu, September 27 (Scoop News)-Led by BJP State President Jugal Kishore Sharma and accompanied by Leader of Legislative Party Ashok Khajuria, National Executive Member & Chief Spokespreson Dr. Jitendra Singh, State Vice-Presidents Col. Uttam Singh and Sakina Bano, General Secretaries Kavinder Gupta and Bali Bhagat, MLA Sukhnandan Kumar, Morcha Presidents Priya Sethi and Surinder Bhagat, District President Subash Jandial and other senior leaders, party activists held a massive protest followed by burning of the effigies of Pakistan and UPA governments.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while expressing gratitude to the people of Jammu, including transporters, Bar Association, Chamber of Commerce & Industry, traders, educational and social organizations for extending their full support to make Jammu bandh successful, said that the unity displayed by Jammuites on the issue of security and safety has sent very clear message to the UPA as well as NC-Congress coalition that the people that a tough and clear stand against Pakistan can only bring down the anger of masses. He said that it is indeed unfortunate that the Prime Minister has failed to understand his constitutional duty to ensure security of the citizens of India and it seems that he is under some external pressure for continuation of peace talks with Pakistan. He said that Pakistan has been violating all the norms and agreements, and indulging in cross border firing, infiltration, killings of Indian soldiers and making all efforts to internationalize Kashmir issue. The only issue between India and Pakistan is to get back PoK which is illegally occupied by Pakistan. He said that the UPA should only focus on getting these areas back and using International pressure to get Pakistan declared a terrorist country.
Ashok Khajuria said that the Pakistan was always defeated in direct wars by the brave Indian soldiers. As it could not succeed in its nefarious designs, it changed its strategy and waged a proxy war against India. Every time whenever it indulged in firing, killings, only one line statement of condemnation from the Indian government sent a signal that Pakistan had not to face any resistance or effective from India viz-a-viz its proxy war. He also held the Omar Abdullah led State government responsible for it.
Sat Sharma (C.A), Mohan Singh Chouhan, Munish Sharma, Ghulam Ali Khatana, Chander Mohan Gupta, Yudhvir Sethi, Pt. Ashok Khajuria, Naresh Dogra, Priya Sethi, Subhash Jandial, Vikram Randhawa, Arvind Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, Balwan Singh, Sanjay Baru, Narotam Sharma, Indu Bhushan Sharma, Vivek Gupta, Surinder Choudhary, Sangita Gupta, Parveen Arora, Ajay Vaid, Sanjita Dogra, Praduman Singh, Tarseem Choudhary, Ayodhya Gupta, Sat Pal Choudhary, Kuldeep Kandhari, Rinku Chauhan, Anil Masoom and others also took part in the protest march.
Reasi, Udhampur, R.S. Pura, Akhnoor, Rajouri, Samba, Hiranagar, Kathua also observed complete bandh.
Meanwhile, the party activists led by State Executive Member Koushal Kotwal, held scuffle with police at Seri bazaar of Bhaderwah when they were stopped from burning the effigies of Pakistan and UPA.
