Here’s a great way to keep the kids occupied during the summer.
Blow bubbles!
You can probably get the bubbles at the dollar store or make your own bubbles and wands!
If you want to make your own bubbles here is a homemade recipe:
Bubble mixture:
a) Get out a large cup or shallow pan
b) Pour 1/2 cup dish soap into the cup/pan
c) Add 1 1/2 cups water into the cup/cup
d) Measure 2 teaspoons of sugar into the water/soap mixture
e) add food coloring for colorful bubbles
f) refill your old bubble containers
Homemade wands:
Pipecleaners bent into interesting shapes, cookie cutters, yogurt lids with the plastic insert removed. Use a flyswatter to make tiny bubbles … or twist a coat hanger into a pleasing shape and make giant bubbles.
Enjoy and have fun!
