Just a few minutes ago another bomb went off in Colombo, Sri Lanka , near the posh 5 star hotels…4 dead and 23 wounded.
Lets hope this will not be the new trend for 2008. The governmnet is hell bent on war and the LTTE won’t give up the fight and we the people are caught in between.
Almost daily, several soldiers from both sides get wounded or killed and this has become just another daily occurance. No one bothers or even remarks on these daily deaths.
The government boasts of the number killed as if its some award achieved and the LTTE suicide bombers just blow themselves up with no consideration of civilians.
What has happened to the value of LIFE?
Doesn’t any one consider life of others as IMPORTANT anymore?
Why don’t they realize that each one of us represent a LIFE and each person is valuable and has a right to LIVE!
The leaders on both sides seem to think they are immortal and only they have a right to live or in other words, only a selected few has the RIGHT to LIVE while THEY CHOOSE who those people are!
What a state they are turning our country into…
Its not only in SriLanka but this is applicable in most countries in our region and even the West.
Lets vote for Peace and respect for ALL LIFE .
