The Commando Unit whos job was to give security to President Pervez Musharraf has been replaced late night. The most professional Unit will now look after his security. Sources say that Musharraf agrees to leave Army House and will shift to the Presidential Palace. Sources say that he will declare his resignation in next 48 hours. Country’s top News TV channels are reporting that Musharraf will soon resign from his office.
Some analysts told this reporter that the possibilities to use special presidential powers like the use of article 58(2-B), to dissolve the National Assembly are now very less. Analysts fruther said that the possibilities of his impeachment are also looking to be less and the newly elected parliament will not undergo his impeachment process.
Pervez Musharraf took over the power of the country on October 12, 1999 as an army chief. He rules the country since last 8 years.
After February 18, 2008 elections, the ruling atmosphere for Musharraf has become totally unfavorable and his role the politics of the country seems to be less.
He has been under immense pressure from country’s top politicians to leave his office.
Musharraf is blamed by Politicians and Media for being responsible for the Economic and Judicial Crises in the country. Moreover, he is under criticism for the ongoing terrorism and unrest in the most parts of the country. Political analysts criticize him for his decision on War on Terror.
