Even US Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton has the time to share a few jokes and laughs. She along with her daughter Chelsea and Ohio’s Democratic Governor Ted Strickland had made a special stop. The three of them have visited the farm of the late Bob Evans which had become the first ever Bob Evans Restaurant.
Clinton would greet waitresses and take pictures. Jokingly, Clinton said that if she does not make it to the Oval Office next year, she has a backup plan implying getting a job at Bob Evans.
“In case this other endeavor I’m involved in doesn’t work out, I know I can come back to Bob Evans,” Clinton joked while she slapped the counter.
Then, she would stand behind the counter while joking with patrons asking: “Can I take your order?” She was dressed in a strawberry jam colored jacket which is part of the uniform of those that work at Bob Evans.
The quick stop to the Bob Evans comes before she plans to reveal to the public a new plan that will halve the rate of child poverty by 2020.
