In the wake of the report of former US Senator George Mitchell (Democrat-Maine) on steroid use by professional athletes, the current crop of Congress have to get in on the act by holding more grandstanding hearings (New York Times 10 January 2008 "Congress Starts Clemens Inquiry."
Where exactly in the United States Constitution does the Congress get the authority to investigate sports or to prohibit the use of steroids?
What business is it of theirs?
Lets get Congress off steroids. Let us separate sports and state. Don’t forget to end the war on some drugs.
