CRICKET CRICKET AND MORE INDIA!!! Are you a cricket fan…if not then you got to be! If not for the love of the game but for the controversies surrounding it, all the time. Believe me it gets your adrenaline pumping all up. Even you are a mild and timid kind of a guy; come on … cricket will make you an angry young man or a woman. For instance let’s begin with the huge cloud troubling the Indian crowd since the last few days. I call it ‘To quit or not to quit’. It reminds me something about the ‘Quit India Movement’ started by Gandhiji. Only that time it was the British and this time it is the Aussies! Should this matter be laughed at though…wonder why not?? You have the poor Indians being bullied around by the strong and mighty teams over and over again and this was no different…No different are you sure?…This time around it seems though India is going to take a stand. We are continuously hearing the news that how the BCCI is going to go the official way of keeping the two umpires out of umpiring and if not they will boycott the game….boycott…sounds familiar ha!!! The Indian way to go all the way. But on a more serious note now…we have seen the injustice and got our ears ringing by Suniljee’s roaring. The man made a very serious point which we or in the least most of us missed that Ganguly’s catch out was not a catch at all not because he did not catch it but because he grounded it in the act of catching it during his somersault. ‘ The act of taking a catch’ that was very much educative. The same was the case with the all mighty Ricky Pontings’ catch it was grounded…and yet he appeals…but lets give it to the guy ..his adrenaline was all pumped up while getting to a most possible oops…sorry impossible catch….at least at that time he never pointed to the umpire it is an out man. This got me thinking do people really dive for the catch or to play antics…hmm.. Bringing in the ‘point outs’ made by so many others in the cricket arena…lets figure out what Mr. Siddu had to say. His point if to be noted is a point of ‘National Integrity’ India’s pride has been walked upon with the Bhaji case…(not a quote just a line interpreted form his quotes). Great going Sir…if to brush our memory a little not very long ago a Bollywood beauty was subjected to racism in a foreign show on a foreign land and boy oh boy she not only made a ton of money but also boosted her career with a face lift of integrity and dignity. So all the best to Bhaji, cause if history is to be repeated…your career is certainly on a rise. All thanks to the ‘All mighty Aussies”
So what do we do now…we not so great cricket lovers…we now develop a love for ‘CRICKET’ if not the game then for the controversies…what you say man…a Fosters for that…Aussie Aussie Aussie
