Donnette Sanz, a traffic agent in New York City, was hit by a van which pushed her in front a a bus while walking across the street in the Bronx Thursday. Within moments over 20 people ran to the bus to try and saving Donnette Sanz, who was pregnant and crushed underneath.
Bystanders managed to life the bus off of Donnette Sanz and rush her to a hospital where doctors preformed an emergency Caesarean section.
The baby, Sean Michael, was 3 pounds, 6 ounces and is currently in critical condition.
The van’s driver who initially struck Donnette Sanz, was arrested on charges of negligent homicide and driving without a license.
