Revolutionary step of EDO E& S Education. Teachers found absent since long during his surprise visit.
CHITRAL: Assuming his charge Executive District Officer Elementary & Secondary Education Siraj Muhammad Khan has kicked a revolution step. He visited so many male and female schools surprise and found so many teachers absent. During his surprise visit to Government Girls high school Broze a Senior Secondary school teacher SST Miss Afshan Rahman was found absent since August 2010 but she regularly drawing her monthly salary illegally. She was issued a show cause notice and her salary was stopped immediately. Source told this scribe that some influential teachers are being supporting by some politicians. A case under disciplinary action was forwarded to Directorate of education department regarding removal from service of guilty teachers. As well as parent teachers association also has sent a unanimous resolution regarding absent from duty of Miss Afshan hence due to local EDO no action was taken against these absent teachers. And Siraj Muhammad belongs to Peshawar. Similarly 5 teachers were found absent at Govt. Girls High School Reshun they were Bibi Shifra physical education Teacher, Fatima Bibi CT on detail post but found absent, Jamila Andaleeb, Anwaz Bibi, and Rabia Bibi TT were found absent.
Head teacher of Govt. primary school Mori Lasht was found absent, 6 staff were absent at Govt. High school Kari for boys. Sirajuddin Arabic Teacher, Karimullah Theology Teacher, Qari Hafeezur Rehman, Shakeel Ahmad Junior Clerk, Rahmat Karim Naib Qasid and Khuda Bakhsh chowkidar were found absent. During surprise visit of government High school Reshun no record was found of rupees 300000 of Parent Teachers council fund and seems embezzlement in the fund. Similarly at GPS Biori upper a teacher was found on detail duty on political basis at Mori Lasht and was absent at his own school. Embezzlement in PTC fund was found at GPS Chamarkun and a CT teacher Saifullah was found absent at G.H.S Chamarkun. 5 teachers were found on examination duty illegally at G.H. S Balach as a result precious times of students wasting.
Talking to local journalists EDO E& S Education Siraj Muhammad told that there are some 637 primary schools, 87 middle schools, 61 high schools and 4 higher secondary schools for boys at Chitral but there is no higher secondary school for girls in the whole district. He said that I want to visit all schools in the entire district but due to less budget for POL (fuel) for official vehicle it is not possible to cover 14850 square kilometers Chitral district. Social and political circle of Chitral have highly hailed this step by Siraj Muhammad for bringing revolution in education system of Chitral and demanded for increasing of fuel and communication charges of EDO to enable him to visit all schools in the entire district.
AECC demanded early implementation on recommendations of pay and Pension committee.
CHITRAL: A high level meeting of All employees Coordination Council (AECC ) was held at Town Hall presided over by Dr. Noorul Islam president Doctors Association Chitral while provincial minister for population welfare Saleem Khan was chief guest on the occasion. Participants comprising over representatives of different organization of government employees paid rich tribute and thanked provincial Minister Saleem Khan for increasing of home fire wood allowance and Unattractive Area Allowance. The speakers hailed efforts of Saleem Khan in this regard and demanded for increasing fire wood allowance according to prevailing market rate. They also demanded for remission of advance salaries of government employees serving at Chitral from 1st January to 31st December 2010. AECC cabinet also demanded for returning of advance salaries to government employees which were deducted from their salaries after 31st December 2009. They also demanded for implementation on recommendations of pay and pension committee as well as service structure of government employees.
Addressing on the occasion provincial minister assured the employees for rendering his all possible support and stressed upon them to serve the people sincerely. He said that our country facing great problems and especially our province suffering from natural calamity but despite that provincial government increased home fire wood and UAA allowance. But this is moral responsibility of all employees to perform their duty with great zeal and zest and serve the people with commitment and honestly. President of the session Dr. Noorul Islam and other appreciated efforts of Saleem Khan as well as District Coordination Officer Rahmatullah Wazir for solving long awaited problems of government employees of Chitral.

A large number of people belonging to all walks of life attended the session.
